Capitol GCS is currently certified as either a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE), a Small Business Enterprise (SBE) or a Woman Owned Business Enterprise (WOBE) in eighteen states and Washington DC. This covers 27 of the 30 largest transit agencies in the United States. Later this year, we will be adding the states of New York, Maryland and Oregon. Upon completion of this process, Capitol GCS will be certified in all 30 of the largest transit agencies in the United States.
On the Federal level, Capitol GCS is certified by the U.S. Small Business Administration as a Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) contractor. This is consistently the most difficult socio-economic certification for prime contractors to fill. Capitol GCS has held this certification since 2016.
